Fixed in 3bf2df622a that:

implements x-amz-meta- headers (see https://docs.aws.amazon.com/AmazonS3/latest/userguide/UsingMetadata.html)
implements x-amz-metadata-directive in the CopyObject call so that metadata can be updated
