Deleting a branch is permanent. Although the deleted branch may continue to exist for a short time before it actually gets removed, it CANNOT be undone in most cases. Continue?
As of today garage is mentioned in the documentation as a supported S3 backend. It is also tested with all Forgejo versions to guard against future regressions.
@zotan provided a shell function to setup garage in the upgrade test environment that proved reliable and stable.
If you see a way to improve the garage support in Forgejo, please let me know. Otherwise this issue can be closed.
You might want to add a link in your documentation to our doc section that contains recommended configuration values for connecting garage and gitea. On our side, the documentation page has to be updated to mention Forgejo as well.
