When setting a uid field in LDAP, dovecot will use uid as MailDir name instead of users' email. It is interesting as it enables to use only one mailbox for multiple email. However, it is not convenient as you need to think to rename its old folder to a new one. Why could not we use simply ldap cn as MailDir?
